God's timing is important for us as his children. This is a powerful song that speaks to this. In Ecc. 3:11, the word reminds us that God makes things beautiful in his time.
My prayer is that whatever you desire of the Lord, you will trust him totally so that you know and sense by His spirit his timing and his leading. Isaiah 30:21 says-And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee saying, This is the way walk ye in it.
Trust him!

It's Worth the Wait

The four seasons, day and night, life and death are all reminders of God's timing in the world and in our lives. All is a profound message that no matter who we are or what we have achieved, God has ultimate control in the affairs of men. He spoke and it was done. He commanded and it stood fast. Psalm 33:9
At this season in my life, God is reminding me in a powerful way to wait. Yes friends, wait. When this came to my spirit, I began to reflect on a number of people in the scriptures who waited and what happened as a result.
- Hannah had suffered many things because of her barreness. The Bible in 1 Samuel 1: 1-18 describes her bitterness, tears, mockings, appetite loss and her pouring out of her heart in prayer. When the servant of the Lord spoke to her v 16-18, she changed her countenance and continued to wait.
- Job's account shows us one who suffered death of his children, disesase, loss of property, but said...I WILL WAIT until my change comes, Job 14:14.
- Mary and Martha waited for Jesus to show up when Lazarus was ill. He came four days after he had passed. Their wait had turned to pain, but when Jesus showed up, he brought life-John 11.
What are you waiting on the Lord for? Are you of good courage as admonished in Psalm 27:14? Remember that waiting is not always easy but God has promised that when we do our strength will be renewed, we will mount up with wings as eagles, we will be able to run and walk without fainting or being weary-Isaiah 40:31. So wait I say, on the Lord!
